Start with what the bag needs to hold
The right zip-top bag should accommodate the complete contents while still closing comfortably. Begin with the items being packed, then consider the depth, opening and carrying arrangement.
Retail purchases and product bundles
Include the dimensions of boxes, packaging and any accessories. The bag needs enough usable room for the full purchase, with the zip able to close over the packed items.

A bag can appear large enough on paper but still be awkward to pack through its opening. Tell us the widest item it must accept and whether items will be loaded individually or as a complete pack.
Space above the contents
Allow the zip to close without forcing the sides together. Provide the height of the packed items as well as the intended overall bag height.
Depth for bulkier items
A side or base gusset adds depth to the bag. If you are carrying boxes, clothing bundles or several items together, include that requirement when discussing the shape.
The handle arrangement
Decide whether the bag will be held by hand or carried over a shoulder. Include the expected loaded weight so the carrying arrangement can be assessed alongside the construction.
The branding space

Can I order a large non-woven shopping bag with a zip?
Send the dimensions, quantity and intended contents with your enquiry. Claytons can assess a custom zip-top design and confirm the suitable material and production options. A zip closure should be specified in the request; it is not a standard feature of every non-woven bag.
Do you offer canvas tote bags with zips?
Canvas zip-top designs can be discussed through the custom-made service. Share a reference image or describe the fabric, size and handle style you want. The available construction and order requirements will be confirmed for your project.
Can I buy these as standard online stock?

Are zip-top bags waterproof?
A zip closure on its own does not establish waterproof performance. If weather protection is essential, include the requirement in your brief so the material, seams and closure can be assessed together.

What are the minimum order and production time?
